The Art Garage loves Scouts!

Scout Parties & Celebrations

Celebrate your troop’s achievements with a creative party at The Art Garage! Our pottery painting parties are a fun and unique way to bring your scouts together, whether it’s for earning badges, team bonding, or just celebrating your group’s hard work.

We offer two special Girl Scout themes to make the experience even more memorable:

  • Daisy Scouts: Gold Party Package ($325 for 8 guests; $22.50 per additional guest)
  • Tough Cookies: Platinum Party Package ($375 for 8 guests; $25 per additional guest)

Within a week, the pottery will be dipped in a food-safe glaze, fired, individually wrapped, and labeled with each scout’s name to make returning their creations easy for the leader or host family.

Party Length: 1.5 hours
Recommended Group Size: All sizes up to 24 guests

SCOUT TROOP

Scout Troop Meetings

The Art Garage is a great place to host your next scout troop meeting!  We have private rooms available and you are always welcome to bring drinks and snacks into the studio.  Create tie-dye troop t-shirts or paint pottery together for a fun and unique event.  We’ll work with troop leaders to find a fun project that fits within your idea and time frame.

Empty Bowls

In the fall, many scout troops schedule special times to come into The Art Garage to paint a bowl for this great event.  Class is facilitated by an art teacher and includes explanation of the firing process, from clay to the finished piece.  This is a great service project that allows scout troops to learn about the ceramic process, express their creativity, and give back to their community.  All bowls are donated to the Dripping Springs Empty Bowls event in early November.
