Join us all week as we travel the globe to learn about some exotic and amazing places to visit. Each day we’ll explore a new part of the world, learn about the art and artists from that place and of course, create our own inspired art!
Monday, Nov 21: Travel to Egypt! Learn about the ancient art and customs. Paint a ceramic cat, inspired by the Egyptian Cat Goddess, Bastet. Create an Egyptian armlet to wear and make a paper pyramid, too!
Tuesday, Nov 22: We’ll adventure to the Netherlands to learn about the dutch artists. Create a glass fusion nightlight in the style of Piet Mondrian. Paint a beautiful landscape of tulip fields with a windmill.
Wednesday, Nov 23: Travel to Canada. We’ll learn about artist Ted Harrison, who lived and worked in the Yukon. We’ll paint a beautiful canvas in his style. Also, learn about native art from Canada, create a totem and more!
Friday, Nov. 25: Take a trip to Costa Rica. We’ll be inspired by the beautiful colors and nature of Costa Rica! Paint a three-dimensional sun plaque. Create a blue morpho butterfly and paint an ox cart, too!
Ages: 6-14.
Cost: $189 for all 4 days or $49 per day.
Aftercare will be available until 5pm for $6/hour.
